Members of the population group Ömie, living in Papua New Guinea’s Oro Province, have founded a cooperative to introduce their art via Sydney based Brennan King to the global art market. After successful exhibitions in Australia and the USA, now the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum presents selected works in its current special exhibition. Brennan King will present Ömie Art as well as the story behind their success.
